Ballard Rosenberg Golper & Savitt Obtains Summary Judgment in Multiple Plaintiff Harassment Case

In February 2017, Partners Linda Miller Savitt and Jonathan S. Rosenberg obtained summary judgment against multiple plaintiffs on behalf of two of its corporate health insurance clients and an individual defendant manager. The court dismissed the plaintiffs’ sexual, racial, national origin, and religious harassment claims against the corporate defendants based on the plaintiffs’ failure to exhaust their administrative remedies under the Fair Employment and Housing Act and against the individual defendant on the grounds that the plaintiffs were not subjected to severe or pervasive harassment. The court also awarded costs against each of the plaintiffs in favor of the corporate defendants.
