Senior Counsel Linda Hurevitz Will Be the Co-Chair of the Los Angeles ABOTA

Linda Hurevitz

For the second year, Linda will be the Co-Chair of the Los Angeles ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates) Masters in Trial program. The event is scheduled for June 22, 2018 at Southwestern Law School. The Masters in Trial program is a full day event where experienced trial attorneys from ABOTA present an entire case from Opening Statement through Closing Argument. In addition, there will be guest speakers and a luncheon panel discussion. This year’s case involves a claim of sexual harassment and constructive discharge…a very timely topic.

Linda has also been named Secretary of the Los Angeles ABOTA chapter for 2018 and has been a member of the ABOTA Executive Committee and the membership committee going on five years.

For those who know that Linda’s passion is singing, Linda is excited to announce that on March 1, 2018 she will be singing the National Anthem, along with her jazz vocal group “The Singers in Law” at the Los Angeles Kings game. She will also be appearing on Gurvey’s Law, on KABC 790 Talk Radio on Saturday, February 24, 2018 between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. And, she will be a featured soloist on March 10, 2018 at St. Augustin’s By-the-Sea in Santa Monica with “Legal Voices,” the choral ensemble of the L.A. Lawyers Philharmonic. Linda will be performing “I Ain’t Got Nothin’ But the Blues,” a song written by Duke Ellington and Don George. She will be accompanied by guitarist and attorney, William Ryan.
